Since 2001, I've helped numerous clients to buy and/or sell homes in the Greater Baton Rouge area (including the parishes of East Baton Rouge, Ascension, Livingston, and West Feliciana).
My goal is simple: to make your home buying and/or selling process as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
Selling? I'll give you an honest assessment of value and make recommendations to present your home at its best. I'll have professional photos taken and proactively market your home. When an offer is received, I'll help you determine what your net proceeds will be, compare multiple offers, and negotiate counter offers. Once there is a contract in place, I'll negotiate any repairs requested by the buyer and any appraisal issue. I'll be working on your behalf every step of the way until the Closing Statement is signed, the keys turned over, and you have your check!
Buying? I'll listen carefully to your needs, wants, and desires first. I'll recommend that you get a conditional pre-approval with a reputable lender (I can provide names if needed). THEN I can start seriously "shopping" online in our Multi List System (MLS) and For Sale by Owner (FSBO sites), as well as contacting other agents to find any properties not yet listed. I'll show you properties, discuss pros and cons, and, when you're ready, write an offer for you and negotiate any counter offers. Once there is a contract in place, I'm with you every step of the way: keeping track of deadlines, being present at the home inspection, negotiating repairs, coordinating closing details with the title company, doing the final walk-through, reviewing the Closing Statement, and being present at the closing to answer any final questions or concerns.
Existing Homes or New Construction? You can feel confident that I know the ins and outs, representing builders in past years. I've worked closely in every phase, from reviewing the design plans to making all the selections (plumbing, lighting, flooring, paint colors, etc.). This opportunity has given me a wealth of construction knowledge, which is also beneficial when you are looking at existing homes, too.
Relocating? Whether transferring in or out of our area, I have extensive experience working with relocation companies and buyers /sellers. Past clients have worked for LSU, Exxon, Albemarle, Georgia Pacific, and LSU, just to mention a few.
After the Sale? I'll continue to be your Real Estate Resource -- available to help your friends or associates, to answer your questions, to provide information or recommendations, or simply to meet for a cup of hot coffee or iced tea!
